Our company, Xulu Meat and Exports t/a Xulu Meat is a Black owned and managed entity which is a majority owned subsidiary of the Xulu Group. It supplies various red meat, chicken and pork products in the related FMCG sector. The parent company was founded by Musawenkosi Xulu who comes with a wealth of corporate banking and finance experience. He is a former banker, holding a professional designation with business advisory, taxation and management consulting including corporate governance expertise.
The company is a wholesaler and exporter of tripe, red meat, pork and chicken etc.
The company predominantly services the retail sector i.e. butcheries, chain stores and also exports to China amongst other countries.
The directors of the company consists of a seasoned businessman who is a former corporate banker. He is both a tax practitioner and business rescue practitioner with extensive advisory and consulting background including PR and media communications.
The other director is a former civil servant with risk and revenue management experience as well as the trade and investment promotion.
The company was established in June 2016 by the parent company, Xulu Group after identifying a need for meat supplies to foreign countries.
